Open the Ghostly installer from Downloads
Double-click Ghostly.dmg in your Downloads folder to open the installer window.

Drag Ghostly into Applications
Drag the Ghostly icon onto the Applications folder shortcut in the same window.

Open Ghostly from Applications
Launch Ghostly and grant microphone and accessibility permissions when prompted. It lives in the menu bar.
After you open Ghostly
- · Pick a push-to-talk shortcut in Settings (the fn key works great).
- · First launch downloads a Whisper model (500 MB–1.6 GB). After that, dictation works offline.
- · Press your shortcut anywhere, talk, release — your words paste into the active app.
